Marketsound Reproduces Open Outcry Atmosphere, Reducing Visual Overload

LONDON--Marketsound has launched a front-end application that reproduces the sounds of a traditional open outcry exchange floor, enabling traders who trade electronically to get the feel for the market even when they’re not looking at their screens.
London-based Marketsound’s software, designed for PC’s, transforms the digital data generated by an electronic market into an audio broadcast. This broadcast emulates pit trading, with human voices speaking out buy and sell orders as well as trades
