DTCC revamps data distribution, collection efforts with cloud, AI
The US clearinghouse is evaluating the possibilities that cloud and AI offer to streamline the processes by which it collects and makes data available to market participants.
The Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. (DTCC) is investigating the use of new technologies to extract and enrich the data it processes as part of its duties as a central securities depository, which officials say will make more valuable data more accessible, faster.
Tim Lind, managing director of DTCC Data Services, tells WatersTechnology that the combination of cloud and AI will allow the depository to connect data with other data that adds context, let customers connect to DTCC’s data more
