Lucrative market data deal with LSEG fuels Tradeweb’s record quarter

The fixed-income trading venue realized gains from its 2023 deal with the London Stock Exchange Group, amid soaring revenues from market data providers industry-wide.

Electronic fixed-income markets operator Tradeweb saw its best annual and quarterly revenue in its 28-year history, CEO Billy Hult said during the company’s Q4 2024 earnings call on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Market data revenues rose nearly 16% year-over-year, thanks in large part to the 2023 deal Tradeweb signed with the London Stock Exchange Group, in which LSEG Data and Analytics (formerly Refinitiv) agreed to distribute Tradeweb market data through its enterprise data solutions business and Workspace
