Deutsche Börse Unshackles Xetra Feed
The move is expected to double message traffic over the feeds, although updates could increase by up to 200 percent during peak trading times, says Georg Gross, head of front-office data and analytics at Deutsche Börse. As a result of increased message traffic, Gross estimates that customer bandwidth requirements will approximately double from two to four megabits per second for the CEF feed.
Previously the exchange had distributed its data in predefined time intervals. This meant that the CEF
