Interfax Launches News Archive Analytics
SCAN recently completed beta testing and is now being targeted at subscribers to Interfax's SPARK and IFX company data and news terminals as an add-on subscription service.
The archive contains Russian-language news from more than 500 media sources dating back to 1991, and proprietary Interfax content dating back to 1989. Eugene Kasevin, manager of Interfax Europe in London, says that SCAN could be compared to a Russian-language version of Factiva, Dow Jones' electronic news archive. Interfax's
