Open Trade is, of course, far more than just a telephone. Through touch-screen interfaces, the turret integrates voice with all of the other forms of communication that modern traders are accustomed to using, such as web, instant message, video, e-mail and even web-based applications. In light of recent regulatory developments on the back of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid) and the Dodd-Frank Act, Orange has partnered with recording specialists and tied in mobile compatibility to ensure that communications are captured and stored according to mandates from home authorities.
