Rimes Technology, a provider of global financial databases over the Internet, has attracted four potential clients in its bid for a share in the Japanese market, according to Andy Barrow, head of business development in Sydney.

Currently, the firms are in trials and negotiations for use of Rimes IDs, a desktop tool that provides access to Rimes Online—a Web reporting tool—and RTXLNET—an Internet-ready Excel add-in that downloads content from Rimes’ databases into Excel spreadsheets. Rimes IDs
