TMX Completes Quantum XA Implementation

TMX is planning to roll out the upgrade to its other markets next year.

The final part of the phased implementation was completed yesterday, with the last batch of symbols migrating to Quantum XA. The Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange and Alpha will begin their upgrade processes starting in the middle of next year.

"The launch on TMX Select underlines our commitment to enhancing the quality of trading on our equity markets," says Kevan Cowan, president at TSX Markets and group head of equities at TMX Group. "We are very excited to introduce a robust new platform specifically designed to improve the security, efficiency and quality of trade execution for our diverse customer groups."
