Owned by Solid Trading, SolidFX facilitates automated currency trading, including low-latency and high-frequency trading strategies. It will use TNS's secure trading network to cover the full FX trading cycle, which operates for six days per week across different time zones. TNS plugs in to buy- and sell-side participants, venues and data providers through more than 125 points-of-presence in 45 countries.
"Strategic partnerships with next generation electronic communications networks (ECNs), like SolidFX, provide us great opportunities to work with different types of trading platforms," says John Owens, VP of exchanges and ECNs at TNS. "Customers of Solid Trading will be able to connect to new trading venues through TNS in as little as 3 days allowing them to maximize trading opportunities and convert to production very quickly to begin critical trading."
