Kemper Rolls Out 50-Plus Univu Suns As Remainder Of Traders Stay On PCs

Kemper Securities Inc. has purchased and installed a 50- position trial installation of EJV Partners L.P.'s UniVu suite of fixed-income securities pricing analytics for use by traders and sales staff at its Chicago and New York offices.
While Kemper's installation of UniVu runs on Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstation workstations and servers -- the only platform on which UniVu is available to date -- officials at the firm say they would some day like to able to access the service via the data
