Chase Manhattan Bank has selected Teknekron Software Systems Inc. and Sun Microsystems Inc. to provide it with a trading room platform for some 700 users in New York and London. The decision follows more than two years of evaluations by the bank, culminating in the dissemination of a series of requests for proposal this spring. The runner-up in the data distribution and workstation software race was Reuters.
