Morgan Stanley Inks $3.65 Million Deal With Persistence To Build O-O Platform

Morgan Stanley has signed a $3.65 million "strategic agreement" with San Mateo, Calif-based Persistence Software to build an enterprise-wide real-time object distribution and notification infrastructure. Morgan will use Persistence's Live Object Cache as the "next generation" for its in-house developed Morgan Stanley Data Network (MSDN). Meanwhile, Persistence will incorporate Object Filter, an object distribution technology developed by Morgan Stanley, into its product.
