Greenwich Capital Performs Live Disaster-Recovery Test

Greenwich Capital Markets Inc. two weeks ago ran a live test of its year-old disaster recovery plan, swinging private lines and data circuits from its Greenwich, Conn., trading room to Exchange Resources Inc.'s contingency trading facility at the Teleport on Staten Island. The test involved transporting 100 Greenwich Capital traders to the back-up site, where they conducted live trading for a full day.

According to Rick Stiegler, an assistant vice president for information technology at Greenwich
