With Business in Japan Looking Up, Reuters Asia Sales Improve In 3Q96

After a number of quarters in which sales growth slowed, Reuters Asia has reported improved revenue growth figures for the third quarter of this year--at least at comparable rates of exchange. The region posted a 7 per cent rise in sales from the region compared with the same period last year, although at actual exchange rates, Reuters Asia can claim just 3 per cent more revenue for 3Q96, thanks in no small part to the weakening of the yen since then.
