Eurex Bonds to Take Limit Orders Starting May 3

FRANKFURT--User firms will face minor systems adjustments when the Eurex Bonds ECN begins accepting single-sided limit orders on May 3, officials say.

"The move comes as a result of regulatory changes affecting German securities markets, introduced toward the end of 2003," says a spokesperson for the Frankfurt-based Eurex derivatives exchange, which together with global bond-trading houses, is behind Eurex Bonds.
