FactSet lays out trading roadmap post LiquidityBook deal

The software and data provider announced it was buying LiquidityBook this month, filling a gap in its front-office suite of solutions.

In 2017, the New England Patriots completed the largest comeback in Super Bowl history to beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime, after trailing the Falcons in the third quarter by 25 points.

That same year, another New England-based entity was making moves of its own: data and software provider FactSet bought BISAM, a provider of portfolio performance and attribution, and multi-asset risk services, for $205.2 million. It wasn’t an acquisition that made waves in the same way a football
