Daiwa Securities Will Deploy BT Megalink In New York Room
TRADING ROOM NETWORKS
Daiwa Securities America Inc. plans to install BT North America Inc.'s so-called Megalink network communications system, a high-bandwidth cabling and software product that allows for interaction between traders' workstations and their telephone turret systems. The installation will be completed when Daiwa's 120 foreign exchange, bond and equity traders move to the bank's new trading floor at 82 Beaver St. in New York City this August.
