Done Deal: EBS And Minex To Merge; Minex Users To Switch To EBS System

As expected (D&IS, 4 Dec.) Electronic Broking Service and Minex, the rival foreign exchange matching services, have agreed in principle to a merger. The two are preparing to make the agreement public as D&IS goes to press. EBS and Minex have signed a memorandum of understanding, which will be finalised after they have received regulatory approval, say officials.
