Berlin Bank Monitors Trades Via Thin Clients

BERLIN--Bankgesellschaft Berlin has shifted to a Web-based thin client version of the TransactionVision trade monitoring software from Bristol Technology in anticipation of a wider roll-out for monitoring major trading applications.

The bank upgraded to version 4.0 of TransactionVision, now running against an IBM WebSphere application server and an IBM DB2 relational database. The bank is using the software to monitor foreign exchange (FX) and money market trades.
