Standard Chartered Gears Up For Move To New Singapore Trading Room

Standard Chartered is building a new 125-position trading room in Singapore, 99 positions of which will initially be fully configured when the room, at its current Singapore headquarters, is officially launched on April 22. Technology and services provided by British Telecom, CCC group, Dell Computer and Flexible Space Systems loom large in the new room's project blueprint, as does a range of Reuters' market data and trading systems.

The bank will continue to use Reuters' Triarch 2000 digital
