Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce/Wood Gundy Inc. is weighing bids from vendors to provide local data distribution and trader workstation software in support of a new proprietary trading group at its head office in Toronto. The bank has selected the UNIX operating system and the Motif graphical user interface as its platform of choice.

Among the bank's key requirements for the new system is that it be capable of interacting with its existing Reuters' Triarch 2000 Terminal Cluster Service that
