'Happy Hour' In Tokyo: Reuters Waives Fees As EBS/Minex Offers Worldwide Rebate

In an apparent response to the recent completion of the merger between electronic FX broking rivals Minex and the Electronic Broking Service (EBS) (D&IS, 25 March), Reuters has introduced a special free brokerage promotion in Tokyo for its Dealing 2000-2 broking service. The promotion, which expires 12 April, entails no-fee trading for several hours each morning.
For its part, EBS has made a permanent reduction in prices worldwide. All EBS customers will receive a minimum monthly credit of $1,000
