EBS Claims Its Volume Exceeds Dealing 2000-2'S
PROPRIETARY EXECUTION
Electronic Broking Service officials have released figures showing a geographical breakdown of the FX matching service's transaction volume while claiming that the service has overtaken rival Reuters Dealing 2000-2 in overall average daily dollar volume.
Meanwhile, Reuters officials say that the company is beta- testing an enhanced version of 2000-2 in 30 London trading rooms. Sources say the system aims to duplicate some of the features of EBS, including a more flexible user interface.
