Bank of England Takes RMDS

TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES

LONDON--The Bank of England (BofE), the U.K.’s central bank, is installing the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) to distribute data throughout the organization, ousting incumbent systems from Reuters rival Moneyline Telerate, sources tell TTW.

The decision follows a review of market data services at the bank, which has previously used both Reuters Triarch and the Moneyline Trading Room System (MTRS)--both of which required updating. The deal was signed in September after year-long negotiations
