AIG Trading Eyes Next For 70 In Connecticut

AIG Trading Corp. is leaning heavily toward selecting NeXT Computer Inc. to provide workstations for a planned new 70- position trading room in Greenwich, Conn.

AIG Trading is the trading subsidiary of insurer American International Group. Formed in May 1990, the trading unit deals in foreign exchange, energy, metals and over-the-counter derivatives for AIG and independent customers.

AIG Trading's new room is expected to go live next February, when the firm will move its trading and back-office
