CBOT Moves To New, 60,000-Square-Foot Trading Floor

After two years of planning a new floor and spending $14.5 million on the technology to support it, the Chicago Board of Trade this week is finally moving to the new, 60,000-square-foot space it built at a total cost of $182 million for its financial instruments. Located directly across the street from the old floor, it's where CBOT traders trade 30-year treasury bonds, 10-year notes and other financial instruments.
