CBOT Shuts Off Some e-cbot Features

CHICAGO--The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) earlier this month was forced to switch off some of the much-vaunted functions of its nascent trading platform, dubbed e-cbot, based upon LiffeConnect.
The trading of 30-year bond futures contract via e-cbot, which launched Jan.1, began "experiencing a large number of significantly off-market bids and asks that are negatively impacting other market participants that trade in the 30-year bond futures," according to a CBOT bulletin released earlier this
