Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc.'s Lehman Brothers division plans to install FD Consulting Inc.'s Real-Time MIPS local data distribution system to deliver multiple, high-speed market-data services to proprietary trading applications at the firm's equity trading desk in New York.
The implementation is part of an ongoing process of rolling out what Lehman has designated its equity trading platform of choice -- Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstations running UNIX and linked by Ethernet local area networks
