BONY & BNY ESI Build Messaging Link For Straight-Through Processing Service
AFTER THE TRADE
NEW YORK--The Bank of New York (BONY) and its BNY ESI subsidiary have completed a messaging interface between their network servers that establishes a straight-through execution and processing service for the bank's global custody clients and users of ESI's settlement and clearing services.
The connection stems from the bank's acquisition of ESI last year (Institutional Trading Technology, October 17, 1997). At the time, both parties said they sought the deal partly to establish a straight
