Korean Banks Ally To Back C.ats; Three Buy Vendor's Derivatives System

DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS

Palo Alto-based C.ats Software has landed a trio of contracts to implement its C.atalyst derivatives trading and risk management system at three major Korean banks: Korea First Bank; Hanil Bank and Korea Exchange Bank.

With these agreements in hand, C.ats is close to making a clean sweep of the major domestic banks in this market. Korea First became the first major Korean financial institution to license the C.atalyst system in July, followed about a month later by Hanil and Korea Exchange. The
