Prudential Securities Cutover To New Floor Set For Today

At press time, Prudential Securities Inc. planned to begin the cutover process to its new trading room digital data distribution system today. According to Prudential chief information officer Bill Anderson, some 96 municipal securities traders are scheduled to be the first to go live in the new trading floor, which is located at 1 New York Plaza.

The new trading room platform consists of Reuters' Triarch 2000 digital data distribution system running on IBM RS/6000 workstations and servers. Also
