Merrill Realigns OST Unit, Gives Responsibility For Trading Room Systems Technology To Martin

In an attempt to enhance technology support for its business groups, Merrill Lynch & Co. has realigned its Operations, Systems and Telecommunications (OST) unit. Under the restructuring, Merrill has given technology oversight of OST's various divisions to a trio of executives: Kelly Martin, who has been appointed chief technology officer of OST's Corporate and Institutional Client Group (CICG); Howard Sorgen, who has been designated chief technology officer of OST's Private Client Technology
