Daiwa Bank In New York Taps Quay -- And Maybe C.ats, Too

Daiwa Bank Corp. in New York has cut a deal with Micrognosis Inc. for a new digital trading room platform. The bank will deploy Quay Financial Software Ltd.'s Invision PC-based data delivery and workstation software system to support up to 40 fixed-income and derivative traders at its planned new Manhattan trading facility. In selecting Micrognosis -- which has the rights to market the Dublin- based Quay's software outside Ireland -- Daiwa rejected the trading room platform offerings of Reuters
