CSFB To Retain Neonet Middleware, Other Incumbent IT At Ex-BZW Site

LONDON--Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) plans to retain the existing technology infrastructure supporting the London trading operations of the former equities business of Barclays Zoete de Wedd (BZW), say sources at the Swiss investment bank. CSFB bought the equities business of BZW late last year (TTW, Nov ember 10, 1997).

Most noticeably, CSFB plans to continue the use of the Neonet middleware from Englewood, Colorado-based New Era of Networks (Neon), say the sources. Neonet was chosen as
