Clarification: The last issue of TST reported that since its IPO over one year ago, Applix Inc.'s stock price has gone from $10 to over $33 a share. The article should have noted that Applix had a 2-for-1 stock split in December 1995. Applix launched its IPO in December 1994.... Separately, the vendor's shares jumped two weeks ago to a new high of 40-3/4, due in part to expectations that it was planning to distribute its Applixware software through the Internet, according to a wire service
