Hewlett-Packard To Be Prime Vendor For Mobil's Energy Trading System; Teknekron To Integrate

Mobil Oil Corp. has decided to build its energy trading system using Hewlett-Packard Co. hardware and Teknekron Software Systems Inc. software. The decision comes a little more than three months after Mobil abandoned plans to install a system using the former NeXT Computer Inc.'s workstations, servers from Sun Microsystems Inc., the NeXTstep operating environment and software from Kapiti PLC and mc2 Technologies Inc. (TST, Feb. 8).
