Sybase Launches System 11, SBC To Upgrade To Server

Sybase Inc. launched its long awaited System 11 database software in New York City last month. Swiss Bank Corp., which has been beta-testing System 11's SQL Server 11 -- the core component of System 11 -- plans to begin an upgrade to the new server in the first quarter of next year. SBC also plans to upgrade to other components of System 11.
