Stockholmsbörsen Execs, Members Split on FIX
EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES
STOCKHOLM--Top officials of the OM-owned Swedish Stockholmsbörsen stock exchange favor adding Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol support to the exchange’s transaction systems, but exchange members have yet to be persuaded to adopt FIX.
Exchange officials say the proposed FIX layer would potentially cut costs and make it easier for members to connect their existing trading systems to the exchange through FIX APIs rather than the exchange’s Saxess trading front-end software or bespoke
