CIBC/Wood Gundy's FPG Rolls Derivatives Applications

The Financial Products Group (FPG) of Toronto-based CIBC/Wood Gundy has started rolling out a suite of newly developed interest rate and currency derivatives applications to all its operations worldwide. FPG, created last summer, will use its new applications to support trading in a variety of complex derivatives.

The creation of CIBC's FPG is part of a wider plan to restructure the bank as a global investment bank, rather than just a regional commercial bank. Aligned with this strategic shift
