CBOT, CME: Web-Based Delivery Services Slash Risk, Speed Trade Settlements

CHICAGO--The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), together with its clearing partner-to-be, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), will release a new Web-based electronic delivery system (EDS), starting later this month.

The EDS platform will speed trade settlement and decrease the risk differential between futures contracts and the underlying cash markets, officials say.
