Anchor Capital Reconciles Transactions, Keeps Current With Custodian Bank

In January, an Internet-based system that automates the transaction reconciliation process between money managers and their custodian banks will be released by Advent Software Inc. Called Rex 2, the system's reconciliation features are based upon the San Francisco-based company's Axys portfolio management system.

The first beta site for the system is Anchor Capital Advisers in Boston, which is testing the software with one of its custodians, State Street Bank.

The system "eliminates manual
