Bankers Trust Mock Trades With Reuters, Teknekron, Bidds
MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY
Bankers Trust Co.'s technology staff this week will begin hosting trader visits to a mock trading room in New York, where the bank has installed digital data distribution and display software from Reuters and Teknekron Software Systems Inc. The two vendor-supplied systems sit alongside Bankers' internally-developed incumbent platform, the so-called Bidds data distribution system.
The demo systems are handling live, real-time data from Reuters, Dow Jones Telerate and Knight-Ridder Inc. at four
