Daiwa To Sell DEC, Teknekron System, Buys IBM, Teknekron For Own Dealers
DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS
Daiwa Securities Corp. has begun installing a new dealing room system that employs Teknekron Software Systems Inc. digital data distribution platform and IBM RS/6000 server hardware. The system, which will support Daiwa's 100 or so equities dealers in Tokyo, will deliver information to the Sun Microsystems Inc. clone workstations manufactured by Toshiba Corp. that already sit on the dealers' desks.
