Bank of America has ended its global use of its Rate Information Utility (RIU)--an in-house developed, C and C++-based market data delivery infrastructure. With the deployment of Reuters' Personal Trader Workstation (PTW) display software, the San Francisco-based bank completed its transformation into a Reuters Triarch shop, says a bank source.
In Asia/Pacific, the trading rooms in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Jakarta run PTW and Triarch. Not all of BofA's trading floors used the RIU-based
