Sumitomo Bank Treasury Group Picks Teknekron For New York
TRADING ROOM NETWORKS
The New York branch of Tokyo-based Sumitomo Bank Ltd.'s Sumitomo Treasury Group (SBTG) has selected Reuters subsidiary Teknekron Software Systems Inc.'s Teknekron Information Bus (TIB) digital data distribution system to support 60 traders. TIB was chosen from a roster of three vendors -- the other two being Reuters itself and Micrognosis Inc. SBTG will retain the Reuters/Rich Inc. video switch it currently uses at its World Trade Center offices.
