Sumitomo Bank Capital Markets Inc. is close to completing the rollout of a 200-position derivatives trading installation at its three offices worldwide, in Hong Kong, London and New York City. The system is based entirely on Digital Equipment Corp. RISC workstations and servers running Ultrix and a range of proprietary and third-party applications.

SBCM is a New York-based subsidiary of Japan's Sumitomo Bank with several billion dollars in assets. It specializes in over-the-counter derivatives
