Reuters' Dealing 2000-2 Tests End; February Launch May Be In Sight
PROPRIETARY EXECUTION
Beta testing of Reuters Holdings PLC's Dealing 2000-2 foreign exchange order matching system was close to completion last week following a week of successful operation, say officials at testing banks, some of which have now begun negotiating contracts with Reuters. The test's success makes it likely that Reuters managing director and chief executive Peter Job will commit to an early startup date for the system at Reuters' earnings announcement this week.
