Instinet Japan has hired Mark Voumard as director of sales and marketing. A ten-year veteran of various securities firms in Japan, including Paribas Securities and Baring, Voumard was most recently an associate director of WI Carr, where he headed equity sales to Japanese institutions. Voumard also joins Instinet's Asia Management Committee and becomes a director of Instinet Pacific Ltd.
