Syntegra Goes Virtual with ITS.Netrix
TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES
NEW YORK--Syntegra is taking the venerable turret and virtualizing it for trading firms, even shying away from calling the new ITS.Netrix a turret.
Instead, Syntegra is labeling the product, slated to debut this week, "a multimedia desktop device."
Syntegra officials can argue that the ITS.Netrix is more than a turret because it will facilitate IP and non-IP voice communication, a variety of applications, instant messaging, email and video links--all across BT’s virtual private network (VPN)
