Money Brokers Talk With Vendors About Combined Feed

Most of the major global money brokerage firms have joined forces to discuss the creation of a consortium that would sell a consolidated data feed to market data vendors. The group, which would provide data on money markets instruments, foreign exchange and derivatives, has already met with senior Knight-Ridder Inc. officials and is in discussions with Dow Jones Telerate.
The group, which meets in London, was spearheaded by Arthur Hughes, chief executive of the Fulton Prebon Group and Joe Hockey
